Our story, so far
2018 – 2019
The Wellspring of Life Refuge was set up as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG). The Wellspring of Life received Charitable Status. We are building our back office supports, policies, and good governance structure.
2020 – 2021
We began working in the community with women in domestic abuse relationships. We continued working with women and building up relationships with our stakeholders.
2022
We set up a drop in cafe at a secure city centre location to give women space to have a voice and to get whatever help and support we can give.
We presented our vision and plans to open a refuge to the Minister for Housing in Leinster House
We commenced our Life Coaching sessions both online and in person for the women who were availing of our services.
2023
We begin giving talks to promote a culture of zero tolerance to domestic abuse
We continue to build up our services to women in the community.
We are positioning our charity to open a new campus offering our current services and a place of residence as soon as possible.
